Our own car
Most of what we bring in belongs to someone who would rather it were not on a website. This one is ours, so we can show you all of it.
A 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with Hennessey’s HPE700 conversion: the supercharged 6.2 litre LS9 lifted out of the Corvette ZR1, 725 horsepower, six-speed manual. Hennessey built twenty-four of them for the 2010 model year and this is one, with the numbered plaque in the cabin to prove it.
The wing badge reads LS9 and the plate reads W FSC 1, which is about as on-brand as a car can reasonably get.
We did not import this one. We bought it here in Austria — it had already made the crossing — and we are saying so rather than filing it under deliveries, because a claim like that is the first thing anyone would check.
What it does show is that we run one ourselves. An American V8 on Austrian plates, with the §57a, the insurance, the tyres and the fuel bill that come with it. When we tell you what one of these is like to own here, it is not theory.
Tell us the car and we will put a landed price against it within one working day.
